A fast-growing brand looking to revolutionise the underwear and apparel industry is relocating from Bromsgrove to Connexion at Blythe Valley Park (BVP) Solihull, in a mission to double its size in the next 12 months.

Zenith our holding their Macmillan’s Coffee Morning on Friday 27th September from 10.00am in Café One at One Central Boulevard. Anyone on the park can attend the event to help support this amazing cause. There will be cakes and refreshments on sale, as well as homemade freshly cooked samosas and spring rolls!
Zenith are also looking for volunteers to bake or donate cakes for the coffee morning. If you know anyone who is willing to bring something in on the day please bring your tasty treats to Café one before 9.30am.

Please be aware that there will be a photographer on site at Blythe Valley Park on Tuesday 17th September to take some updated images of some of our buildings, buses, Country Park, Java Lounge and generally people using the business park. These images will be used for our Blythe Valley Park marketing material across social media, website and brochures to show what a thriving environment we have at BVP.
Generally the photographs are going to be of people in / using the BVP environment, and not focused on individual faces. However, if you would not like to be photographed please make yourself aware to our photographer Dan Graves.
From Sunday 1st September a new A7-A8 timetable will be put in place. The bus service will still serve Blythe Valley Park and surrounding villages by Transport for West Midlands, and is operated by Landflight.
Prices will remain the same and will still operate as a seven day a week service running from 6am through to 10pm during weekdays, providing bus travel to and from Blythe Valley Park up to 30 times a day. Copies of the timetable, route map and pricing structure are available on the ‘location’ section of the website, or can be downloaded below.
We would be grateful if you could share the new timetables and route maps with your colleagues particularly those that use public transport, and more importantly with those who wish to ‘ditch the car’ and get to work in a more sustainable way!

At Blythe Valley Park, we love to encourage you to get outdoors for lunchtime walks, walking meetings and to enjoy the 122 acres of country park that we’re surrounded by – that’s why we are making some improvements to the country footpaths around BVP… therefore will be closing a section of the footpath from Monday 26th August – Friday 20th September (subject to footpath improvement works).

We’ve set up a brand new coffee recycling service at Blythe Valley Park in conjunction with waste management company, First Mile. The UK consumes up to 95 million cups of coffee a day, which produces around 500,000 tonnes of used coffee grounds, most of which end up in landfill. First Mile work with bio-bean who recycle coffee grounds and convert them into carbon neutral biofuels, such as ‘Coffee Logs’ which can be used to power wood burners and stoves. Our landscapers at Blythe Valley Park will also be using some of the coffee waste to redistribute around our 122 acres of country park.

The Mental Health Foundation hosted its annual Mental Health Awareness Week last week. The theme for 2019 was ‘body image: how we think and feel about our bodies’. We have organised some workshops to help us try and conquer negative or unwanted thoughts about our bodies, including a mindfulness session to help let go of anxieties and a dog walking session to get us outside and active, while also spending time with pretty pooches!

IM Properties (IMP) has submitted plans for a new neighbourhood centre and apartments at Blythe Valley Park (BVP) – on the outskirts of Solihull – as part of its strategic vision to create a new high quality and sustainable mixed-use community.
The proposal will include an eatery, convenience store and a further retail unit, plus 48 one and two-bedroom apartments, 25 per cent of which will be affordable and managed in partnership with Bromford Homes.
When Gymshark, one of the UK’s fastest growing companies approached IM Properties about relocating from Redditch to a new 42,000 sq ft headquarters (GSHQ) at Blythe Valley Park (BVP), there was an air of excitement about what they proposed.
Ben Francis, the 26-year old founder, announced on social media that he wasn’t going to create just any office, but the world’s greatest workspace! A bold statement from the young entrepreneur, however £4m and a lot of hard work later and the end product is every inch as inspiring as those created by some of the world’s most forward-thinking companies.

IM Properties (IMP) has submitted a reserved matters planning application for a new 15,500 sq ft, Grade A office building, at Blythe Valley Park (BVP).
Having successfully let its FIRST spec built office building to Solihull based accountants, Jerroms in September of last year, IMP is now pushing ahead with its proposal for a second self-contained, headquarters quality office scheme.
If planning is granted, the new offices could be ready for occupation in the autumn of 2020 and will focus on delivering a sustainable, ‘best in class’ specification, targeting an EPC A rating with employee wellbeing top of the agenda.
Zenith are once again supporting the fantastic Easter Egg Appeal for the Barnardo’s charity. Barnardo’s are always overwhelmed by your kind generosity each year and enjoy seeing the faces of the young people when they are given their egg. Last year Barnardo’s received 160 Easter Eggs from Zenith with the support of their OCB neighbours and tenants on the park.
Zenith are asking you to either bring in your Easter eggs or simply give a minimum contribution of £1.00, so that the CSR committee can order the Easter eggs on your behalf.
Barnardo’s are an organisation who protect, support and nurture the UK’s most vulnerable children. Now fully occupied, Taylor Wimpey’s new 9,393 sq ft training facility opening Q1 next year, completes the occupancy of 113, 914 sq ft of space, in what is the largest multi-let office building on the M42.
We are pleased to announce that a new bus service has been set up to serve Blythe Valley Park and surrounding villages by Transport for West Midlands, commencing from this Sunday 24th February. The service will be operated by Landflight.
The new bus route, known as A7 / A8, is a seven day a week service running from 6am through to 10pm during weekdays, that will provide bus travel to and from Blythe Valley Park throughout the day. Please note that this is a public service, where customers will need to pay for their journeys. Whilst the new service settles, we will be continuing to run the Blythe Valley Park subsidised service to and from Solihull Station in the morning and evening peaks until those working at the Park get used to the new service. In addition, the bus route to Birmingham International Station will continue to run in the morning and evenings.

Gymshark, one of the world’s fastest-growing fitness apparel brands, has taken more space at IM Properties’ (IMP) Blythe Valley Park (BVP). Last year, Gymshark chose the park as its location for their global GSHQ, relocating from Redditch and taking 42,000 sq ft of Grade A space on a 10-year lease.
Now the online fitness apparel retailer has signed up to IMP’s award winning Connexion campus of five high specification industrial & logistic units, taking 31,000 sq ft.

GKN Aerospace has signed up for 11,450 sq ft at One Central Boulevard (OCB), which has attracted a variety of quality occupiers since its £5 million refurbishment, which was completed in 2017.

Roz Kings, from ‘Present Mind’, is returning to Blythe Valley Park host a series of 5 free to attend mindfulness sessions. Roz will lead you through different mindfulness techniques in her sessions with the aim to make you feel more focused and relaxed. Mindfulness is a simple form of meditation used to bring one’s awareness to the present moment. The technique is used to wake up out of autopilot and ‘take the steering wheel’ of our attention again.
No experience is required for these sessions and you can attend as many or few as you like. The sessions will take place every Thursday from 27th September to 25th October from 12.30pm – 1.15pm. Roz will be introducing a new theme each week so that anyone can attend at any time. The first phase of homes at a major mixed-use development near Solihull has been given the go-ahead.
Bloor Homes has been granted detailed planning permission to build 170 new homes at IM Properties’ Blythe Valley Park (BVP), close to Junction 4 of the M42. To coincide with archaeological works taking place on site there will be some footpath closures this week commencing 23rd July (please look out for associated signs) and further closures will apply when infrastructure works start next week Monday 30th July. We all have a 24-hour internal clock that runs in the background of our brains that controls our ‘sleep/wake cycle’ – this cycle switches between sleepiness and alertness throughout the day and night.

IM Properties (IMP) is pushing forward with delivering much-needed homes for young people and families in Solihull, announcing the second signing at its Blythe Valley Park (BVP) development, with award-winning housebuilder, Crest Nicholson Midlands.
Crest Nicholson will work with IMP to deliver 125 contemporary new homes, 31 of which will be affordable, including apartments, and three and four bedroom properties.

A hi-tech global automotive engineering group has signed up to a 15 year lease at IM Properties’ (IMP) new Connexion campus at Blythe Valley Park (BVP), to manufacture a new hybrid transmission system.
Connexion is a £26m speculative development directly off junction 4 of the M42 offering five high-spec units from 31,000 sq ft to 56,500 sq ft.
Hofer powertrain products, set up by hofer powertrain in Leamington and a joint venture with German company, ElringKlinger, will establish their advanced engineering facility at the 47,000 sq ft hi-spec unit and employ up to 50 people.
